This is a own design and build, 46 inch fully symmetrical wing, and weighing in at nearly 3lbs, with an OS25 up front which hopefully will get it airbourne. Had in mind that it should be semi aerobatic, although I will be pleased if it will only do circuts and bumps! Call it Ad Hoc as I have used mostly bits and pieces that had been gathering (balsa) dust in the garage cum workshop.

Nice one Brian I think we should put "to Build " in our glossary of terms :D Most think ARTF'in is the same thing these days.

Haven't seen you for quite a long time so good to hear from you. Thanks for the good wishes for the first flight . That might need reinforcing for subsequent flights also. By for now Roger

Hi Phil not sure if my replies are as they should be, but okay on your comments. I suppose I should have placed it in the (WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING) section. but only have photos of it in its uncovered state prior to covering, It was quick to build and I previously mentioned built straight onto my bench without plans. Not the best of ideas and probably should have called it HIT AND mISS.

Hello Alistair Sure will let you know and as I am sure once the patch is useable again there will be just about everyone there. Guess we are all suffering. Do you get the feeling after a long enforced lack of flying that you just might have lost the knack?

I' managed to get some flying in down the local farm. One day it will stop raining

Perhaps instead of making aeroplanes we should concentrate on building an MMFC Ark ? put in models 2 by 2 ? Then wait 40 days 40 nights for it to stop raining then when the floods subside we can fly again:D

Well Alistair I think those 40 days and nights are nearly up. But taking your point, ie the Ark, when it made land was on top of mount Ararak. So if you want to fly my guess is you would need a slope soarer. That apart-------- You lucky devil!!!

Hi Again Alistair. Sorry its taken so long, but only managed to get to the field last Tuesday. Pleased to say my AD HOC flew just great staight off without any trim changes. How locky can you get. I t will fly quite slowly as I had hoped, but turn up the wick and it gives a good turn of speed. Have completed all my usual aerobatics, although the Knife edge leaves a lot to be desired. It handles very much like the Twister. So if it sounds as if I am Boasting. You Bet!
