Scale blades?

Two things...

Although we haven't got any in our club.....

There is currently a range of aluminium main blades available from Vario UK for our heilcopters.

Please be aware that as a BMFA affiliated club, we are not allowed to use them in the UK for flying, but static displays should pose no real problems. :(

Secondly, to aid identification of blades, don't forget you can add tracker tape to the ends of blades, but with a scale machine you can paint them alternate stripes, this has the added effect of making the blades optically look like they are spinning slower than they actually are!!

As with everything blades (main and tail)...make sure they are balanced and in good working order.
